The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted an interim forfeiture order over 57 high-value properties collectively valued at approximately ₦213.2 billion, allegedly linked to former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), and two of his sons.

The order was issued on January 6, 2026, following an ex-parte application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The properties, located across Abuja, Kebbi, Kano, and Kaduna States, were temporarily forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria, having been described as reasonably suspected proceeds of unlawful activity.
